CBC, Canada’s Olympic Network, will offer 22 hours of live coverage each day from the Milan-Cortina Winter Games, with more than 1,200 hours of live content available on its digital platforms.

With TV broadcasts on CBC and its partner networks Sportsnet and TSN, you’ll be able to stream all the action from Milano Cortina 2026 live and on demand exclusively on CBC Gem.

Opening ceremony
Live broadcast begins Friday, February 6 at 1:30 PM ET/10:30 PM PT
Host of the CBC Olympics Andy Petrillo they will be joined by the Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Alessia Cara for performance before the ceremony. Then, beginning at 2:00 PM ET/11:00 PM PT, CBC News Chief Correspondent Adrienne Arsenault and reporter for the CBC Olympics Devin Heroux will host of CBC’s live broadcast opening ceremony.

The morning of the Winter Olympics in Petro Canada
Host Ron McLean and Perdita Felicien 6 am to 12 pm ET (3-9 am PT)
Veteran broadcaster Ron MacLean returns to host his 12th Olympics for CBC, teaming up with two-time Olympian and world hurdler Perdita Felicien. The audience will start each day with insightful news and development stories, followed by live sports throughout the morning including snowboarding, alpine skiing and hockey.
Winter Olympics Bell during the day
Host Andy Petrillo 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM ET (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM PT)
This program will show the biggest events of the day. This unmissable daytime special will be hosted by award-winning television host Andi Petrillo, who returns to host her seventh Olympic Games, bringing her extensive experience and impressive knowledge to the prime-time Milano-Cortina competition window. Featured sports include: curling, figure skating, hockey and major medal tournaments.
RBC Winter Olympics Primetime
Host Anastasia Bucsis and Craig McMorris 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM ET (4:00 PM – 8:00 PM PT)
The prime-time show will provide the best performances of Olympic Day in an authentic and entertaining format. Two-time Olympian and former figure skater Anastasia Bucsis and pro snowboarder Craig McMorris combine athlete insight with high energy, providing a fresh perspective and bringing the audience one step closer to the action.
Overnight of the Winter Olympic Games
12 to 6 a.m. ET (9 p.m. to 3 a.m. PT)
The nightly show brings highlights and replays of the day, as well as live coverage of early morning events in Italy.
Additional highlights include:
- CBC News Chief Correspondent Adrienne Arsenault and CBC Olympics reporter Devin Heroux will be on the court in Milan to officially open the Games, hosting the opening ceremony on February 6 for the CBC.
- Special contributors across all platforms will include popular sportscasters Ariel Helwani, Cabral “Cabbie” Richards and Donnovan Bennett, professional figure skater Elladjo Baldé and Olympic bobsled medalist and dual-season Olympian Phylicia George.
- Andi Petrillo pulls double duty as host for women’s hockey along with former professional hockey player Saroya Tinker. Olympic champion Cassie Campbell-Pascall and Hailey Salvian join the panel from Milan. Sportscaster Kenzie Lalonde and Olympic champion Cheryl Pounder will provide play-by-play and analysis. Daniella Ponticelli and Olympic champion Becky Kellar will also commentate. Claire Hanna will report from the rink.
- A trusted team of James Duthie, Cassie Campbell-Pascall, Cheryl Pounder, Kevin Bieksa and Elliotte Friedman make up the men’s hockey committee. Veteran sports journalist Chris Cuthbert and former pro hockey player Mike Johnson will provide play-by-play and analysis. Matt Cullen and Becky Kellar will also provide commentary. Kyle Bukauskas will serve as the rink reporter.
