Umar Nurmagomedov isn’t mincing words when it comes to Dillon Danis getting into a scuffle with teammates in New York. For Nurmagomedov, the brief physical exchange at UFC 322 seemed inconsistent with the level of provocation Danis has brought to Nurmagomedov’s circle over the years.

Nurmagomedov recently told Complex:

“This guy talked too much, he talked about religion, he talked about family, he talked about a lot of things, you know, that’s not good. You can’t be that guy and not expect people to hit you… (His beatings) weren’t enough. He had to break some legs, some arms. He had to be hospitalized, between life and death. He deserved it.”
