Yograj Singh’s shocking attitude towards MS Dhoni, calls him ‘aggressive captain’


Former Indian cricketer Yograj Singh has taken a 180-degree turn in his comments about legendary captain MS Dhoni. Ugraj recently called Dhoni an “aggressive captain” who knows how to read wickets and get the most out of the bowlers.

Ugraj also called Dhoni “fearless” and revealed one thing he is not afraid of against the fearsome bowlers in the world. Yugraj’s recent comments are shocking as he had previously slammed Dhoni for ruining his son Yuvraj Singh’s career.

Yograj Singh’s attitude towards MS Dhoni is shocking

While speaking on the YouTube show Unfiltered by Samdish, Yograj Singh was asked about MS Dhoni and his captaincy. Ugraj called Dhoni a proactive captain and claimed that he can read wickets quickly.

“I found (MS) Dhoni to be a very proactive captain who could tell people what to do. The best thing about Dhoni was that he could read the wickets and tell the bowlers where to bowl,” Ugra said Gee observed.

Calling him a “fearless” man, Ugraj cited an incident that showed the world how fearless Dhoni is. He also feels that there are very few players left in modern cricket with such a fearless attitude.

“I will not forgive MS Dhoni. He should look at his face in the mirror. He was a very good cricketer but what he did to my son, everything has come to light now; it’s in life can never be forgiven,” Ugraj said.

He even claimed the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian award, for his son Yuvraj Singh, who helped India win the World Cup in 2011 despite suffering from cancer.

“I dare everyone to have a son like Yuvraj. Even Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag have said in the past that they will not do it again There comes another Yuvraj Singh. India should give him the Bharat Ratna Award for his World Cup win for the country in the fight against cancer.

MS Dhoni to play in IPL 2025

MS Dhoni retired from international cricket in August 2020. However, he remains an active player in the Indian Premier League. The legendary wicketkeeper-batsman continued to play for the Chennai Super Kings even after his retirement and led the team to win the IPL title in 2021 and 2023.

Dhoni will feature again during IPL 2025 after he was retained by the team in the uncapped player category. He was hired by CSK for Rs 4 crore. He has denied reports that he is retiring and hopes to enjoy the game as long as he is still playing football.
