England have announced that pre-World Cup friendlies will be played in south Florida against New Zealand and Costa Rica, with matches to be played in Kansas City, Missouri.
Thomas Tuchel’s Three Lions will be among the favorites to win the trophy for the first time since 1966, and their preparations for the tournament have now been revealed.
As part of preparation camp in south Florida, England will face New Zealand exist Saturday, June 6and then play costa ricaone in Wednesday, June 10the day before the opening game of the tournament.
England will start their group stage on Wednesday 17 June against Croatiabefore facing Ghana and Panama in other group matches later in June.

This means that the Three Lions’ last games at home will be played during the March international break next month, when they face Uruguay on March 27 and Japan on March 31, both games at Wembley.
England’s World Cup training base in Kansas City
The English Football Association also announced that the England team will be based in Kansas City, Missouri During the game.
Tuchel’s side will be based in Swope Football Villageone of Sporting Kansas City’s training facilities. It also owns MLS NEXT Pro and MLS NEXT teams.

Last year, the Football Association identified Swope Football Village as the preferred destination for England’s training base after extensive inspections.
Kansas is a two-hour flight from Dallas, where England’s first group game against Croatia will be played.
Flights are also three hours to Boston and New Jersey, where England’s other two group matches are played.
