It’s fascinating to see what the future holds Wolves forward Jorgen Strand Larson.
The Norwegian has not been at his best this season and has only scored one goal in the Premier League, and that came from a penalty rather than a goalless draw.
However, with Wolves remaining bottom of the Premier League table, other top clubs are also interested in their number nine shirt.
Crystal Palace have agreed a £50m deal for Strand Larsson, but the move has not yet been completed and other teams are now putting their feelers out. However, it does appear that he could leave Molineux.
If that’s the case, Wolves need a new striker and appear to be looking for someone with Premier League experience.
Wolves eyeing Strand-Larsen replacement
The Old Gold seem to be targeting a few players to help strengthen their team. One of them is Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado; The club is said to be interestedDespite being wanted by Manchester United and Atletico Madrid.
Perhaps more realistically, however, the West Midlands outfit have been linked with a move for Turin and Scotland striker Che Adams.
According to TEAMTalkthe club has held conversations about the possibility of returning to the Premier League.
Indeed, those so-called “active talks” could see the transfer progress, with Adams said to be keen on a return to the Premier League.
Pricing is not yet clear, but Football transfers are keen on the striker That’s up to £10 million, so the deal won’t break the bank.
Why Adams is the perfect choice for Mane
Adams, who has played 45 games for the Scotland national team, will add rich Premier League experience and bring goals to Molineux if he joins.
He has surpassed Strand Larsson in goals this season and has impressed in Turin, scoring 20 goals and assisting in 62 games.
In fact, the 29-year-old has scored five goals and provided one assist this season. He recently scored two goals against Roma in the Coppa Italia, helping the team win 3-2 in the round of 16.
Adams surpassed Strand-Larsen in more than just goals. In the top flight this season, he has a higher average conversion rate per 90, at 12% to 6%, and works harder off the ball, as shown by his 2.7 receptions (compared to the Norwegian’s 1).

The Premier League experience Adams will bring to Molineux could be vital as they look to avoid relegation against all odds.
He has 24 goals and 14 assists in the top flight so far, with his best season coming in 2020/21 for Southampton, where he contributed 14 goals.
The signing could benefit Wolves starlet Mateusz Mane significantly. The 18-year-old has been a bright light in what has been a poor campaign, having made a breakthrough under Rob Edwards in recent weeks and establishing himself as a key player.
Mane was born in Portugal, but represented the England youth team, scoring 2 goals and assisting 2 in 12 Premier League games.
The attacker shines in attack with his ball-carrying ability and creativity.
Pairing him with a player like Adams could benefit him in two ways. Firstly, he could learn from the Scot to help improve his attacking game, thanks to someone who has played top-level football in England and Italy.
Second, they can form deadly combinations. The Wolves youngster is not only an excellent dribbler, but also shows creativity and keen link-up ability in the final third.
Playing behind a smaller number nine who may be looking to run fast in behind could be a perfect combination.
Described as a “clinical” terminator at the time by Dave StatmanAdams could be the perfect addition for the Wolves.
Not only would he be a good replacement for Strand Larsson, but the partnership he would form with Mane would be exciting to say the least.
