Bronny James’ future in the NBA seems uncertain. He was in and out of the Lakers lineup without a chance to show his true ability on the court. The February 3 episode of the former NBA Champions podcast “Hoopin’ N Hollerin” Jason Williams Talking about young James.
Williams said he believes James would be better off if he attended a different college program.
“I selfishly wish Bronny James would have gone to Duke or North Carolina just to get out of L.A., away from his dad, and go out there and be a real man. If he had stayed in college for four years, I think he would have been a monster. I do think that, because on the surface, Bronny doesn’t really care about basketball as much as he should. I’m not saying he doesn’t, but that’s what it looks like,” Williams said (time stamped at 1:16:53).
He also said that if James stayed in college for four years, he might have benefited a lot. Additionally, Williams believes the Lakers guard has a chance to become a good basketball player, he just needs the proper guidance.
