Mewgenics Collar Tier List (February 2026)
The new Roguelite game from Edmund McMillen and Tyler Glaiel features 13 unique collar categories. you can Raise various cats and assign them to these collars to refine roles based on individual statistics. In our tier list we group courses into the following categories:
S class
priest
Priest is arguably the best profession in the game. Healing abilities and resurrection mechanics make priests Must-have collar In any team composition. Typically, the healer class is always a trustworthy teammate when players first start the game and get used to all its mechanics.
Likewise, Cleric by Mewgenics provides a safety net for your child when you’re out on your adventures.
fighter
The Fighter is Mewgenics’ preferred DPS collar for cats. The fighter is versatile, has good striking and damage-dealing capabilities, and has good maneuverability to ensure it can inflict maximum damage at close range and backstab.
You can also benefit from the warrior’s crowd control ability, which helps reduce your opponent’s groups.
Class A
tank
As the name suggests, Tanks are a reliable collar class in Mewgenics that you want to absorb damage for your team. These cats have excellent survivability and decent damage output, making them a worthy choice in team compositions.
Butcher
The Butcher is a nifty class that can use meat hooks to manipulate enemy positions in combat. These cats have good survivability and can deal damage well; however, the slow speed often recommends choosing a suitable damage dealer to assist your Butcher.
hunter
The Hunter is an excellent damage dealer that you can choose in your lineup. They have the highest damage-dealing power in the game, but have the slight drawback of failing to fire randomly. Since there are several ways to go about this, a hunter can really shine as your primary DPS, especially against bosses
clown
The only reason the Jester class is in the A tier of this tier list is because of its universal choice pool. You can outfit your Joker into anything you want while being at the mercy of the RNG. You might end up with a better ability than your damage dealer, or end up having to clean up poop stains.
Class B
monk
What sets Monks apart from other classes is their basic attacks. They come in two types and can also switch sides, from melee to ranged and vice versa.
That being said, the low strength stat means the Monk cannot be a reliable damage dealer on your team. However, if you’re someone who likes cool skills, the Monk won’t let you down.
mage
Mages are like hunters, but with magical powers. You can deal ranged damage and choose from a variety of spells to knock down your opponents. The biggest disadvantage of mages is that they need to aim directly at their target. This is why hunters are higher level than mages.
Spirit
Psychics are a great class for players who want to manipulate objects around their team. This class starts with +5 mana and is very good at utilizing spells to support the team without having to step into the proper healer, tank, or damage dealer role.
thief
On paper, the Rogue class could be as good as, if not better than, the Warriors and Hunters in Mewgenics. Since backstab increases damage, the Rogue class can take advantage of this mechanic and take down their target without any problem.
However, the Rogue is easily knocked down and requires good positioning to reach its full potential.
Class C
Druid
Druids can cause problems for your team because their skills are random. This makes team composition quite tricky, requiring support and healing for them to perform well on the battlefield. This makes druids situational, which is why they are rated C tier on our tier list.
Necromancer
The Necromancer has the potential to be one of the best supports for your team. You can resurrect targets, which will cause you to participate in certain battles. However, Necromancer does require a lot of setup and support, which may prevent players from investing in their team during its formation.
Tinker
Tinkerer is another class that has suffered due to RNG. You may end up with some of the best or worst weapons, and this uncertainty can cause problems in the long run. However, if you invest in technology and leverage Tinker’s support capabilities, they can fill a gap in your team composition without compromising you.

In addition to the collar categories mentioned here, you can also choose to have your cat wear no collar. This does not provide any special benefits and is not considered in the category list, which is why it does not appear in the tier list mentioned above. Unless you have the blessing of the RNG to provide your cat with good starting stats, it is not recommended to leave them without a collar.
