What’s in the India-EU trade deal?




After the presidents of the European Commission and the Council of the European Union signed the free trade agreement in New Delhi with the Indian Prime Minister this Tuesday, we take a look at what the pact actually entails. Tariffs will be reduced on a large number of goods going in both directions, but some sectors will remain protected. Both sides seek to further diversify their trade relations as Donald Trump’s global tariff war upends commercial flows.
