Founded in 2019, Carrier Global Corporation (CARR) is a provider of advanced heating, ventilation, air conditioning, fire, security and building automation technologies worldwide. The company has a market capitalization of $47.4 billion and operates through the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration segments.
The Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based company is expected to report Q4 2025 earnings soon. Ahead of the event, analysts forecast Carrier Global to report earnings of $0.39 per share, down 27.8% from $0.54 per share in last year’s quarter. It has beaten Wall Street’s earnings expectations in each of the past four quarters.
For FY2025, analysts expect CARR to report EPS of $2.64, up nearly 3.1% from FY2024’s $2.56. EPS is also expected to grow 9.5% year-over-year (YoY) to $2.89 in FY26.
Shares of CARR have declined 16.7% over the past 52 weeks, underperforming the 19.7% rise in the S&P 500 ($SPX) and the 24.2% return of the State Street Industrial Select Sector SPDR ETF ( XLI ) over the same time period.
Despite the underperformance, CARR shares rose 1.5% on Dec. 3 after the company announced a quarterly dividend of $0.24 per share on its common stock. According to Chairman and CEO David Gitlin, this dividend payout represents a 200% increase since the beginning of 2020 and reflects the company’s disciplined and balanced approach to capital allocation and its commitment to delivering value to its shareholders. The quarterly dividend will be paid on February 9. Also, CARR shares rose after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter results in October.
Analysts’ consensus view on the stock is cautiously bullish, with an overall “Moderate Buy” rating. Among the 23 analysts covering the stock, 11 recommend a “Strong Buy”, one recommends a “Moderate Buy” and 11 suggest a “Hold”. The average price objective of CARR analysts is $72.05, indicating a 30.1% upside from current levels.
