Video: Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua – who wins?

If Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua fought in 2025, who would win?

The rivalry between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua has existed for years, but only outside the ring and in theory. Once upon a time, Fury was the WBC and orthodox world heavyweight champion, and Joshua was the unified IBF/WBA/WBO heavyweight champion. People’s expectations were that the two would inevitably face off for undisputed heavyweight supremacy. . However, this never happened.

Now both Fury and Joshua are showing signs of decline. Joshua has a 6-4 record in his last 10 fights, including a loss to Andy Ruiz Jr., two losses to reigning heavyweight champion Alexander Usyk, and was most recently defeated by Daniel Du Boyce defeated. Fury was coming off back-to-back losses, the only two losses of his career, both against Usyk. Ultimately, neither Fury nor Joshua proved to be the best of their era. Instead, it was Alexander Usyk who conquered the division, and he did so in impressive fashion, becoming number one in the modern four-belt era after the first of two wins against Fury. The undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.

As far as Usyk is concerned, his most logical next opponent would be the winner of the upcoming fight between Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker. However, if the winner of this fight switches to defending Fury, and especially Joshua, then he might get a chance at a bigger payoff than he would have against Usyk. Beyond that, a fight between Fury and AJ would make a lot of sense for both Fury and Joshua, assuming the Dubois-Parker winner faces Usyk next.

The truth is, even though neither of them are champions, and even though they’re both past their best, a fight between Fury and Joshua is still an interesting prospect with lasting implications for both heavyweights. There is no doubt that this is still a huge event and both fighters will make a lot of money.
