US military says it carried out airstrike in Syria, kills two ISIS operatives By Reuters



WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The U.S. military said on Monday it had carried out an airstrike in Syria that killed two Islamic State operatives and wounded another.

Islamic State operatives were operating a truck full of weapons in Dayr az Zawr Province, an area previously controlled by the Syrian government and the Russians, when they were targeted by an airstrike, US Central Command said in a statement on social media platform X.
