The aide, Anastasia Alekseyeva, was sentenced to 12 years in prison in April for taking bribes during two expensive overseas vacations.
Dvorkovich served as Deputy Prime Minister of Russia under former Prime Minister Medvedev from 2012 to 2018. Dvorkovich currently serves as President of the International Chess Federation.
