Two people, an instructor and a student, were airlifted to safety by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue after a plane crash in the Everglades. Lt. Enrique Gonzalez, a flight medic with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, said the two were airlifted out of the swampy area due to unstable terrain. No injuries were reported. It’s unclear what caused the crash, but the National Transportation Safety Board is expected to investigate.
