Triple H took to social media today to announce that Punk will have something to prove in the Saturday Night Main Event on November 1, suggesting that the 46-year-old will be competing in a big match on next month’s show.

Wrestling veteran Bill Apter recently stated that both CM Punk and undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes resurrected their careers in All Elite Wrestling before returning to the promotion.

“CM Punk was in AEW and they brought him in. CM Punk’s fans went crazy seeing him there. So he got a whole new career in WWE as well. So you know what? I would give it a definite yes because they brought them (Punk and Cody) back into the consciousness of wrestling fans, whether it’s on TV, in print media and certainly more importantly on the internet,” Apter said.
