Transferred to Warner Bros. the ‘Clayface’ and ‘Practical Magic 2’ Dates

Oh, that’s it why haven’t we seen or heard anything from Clayface however: it will come out later in 2026 than before.

Warner Bros. revealed on Friday that it has made some minor changes to the release date, so the DC film has been vacated on September 11 and moved to October 23. Its original date is now Practical Magic 2, which was originally dated for next week on September 18.

With his new date, Practical Magic 2 The studio’s horror and genre slate for the fall season begins. In previous years, the early September window was occupied by The Conjuring: Last Rites and Beetlejuice Beetlejuiceand they both excelled in their respective theatrical runs.

Meanwhile, said Clayface The late October slot will make it WB’s big movie for the month. The solo film of the Batman villain was directed by James Watkins in the Don’t Speak Evil remake and written by horror guy (and future The Exorcist director) Mike Flanagan, and best of all, it will hit the big time on Halloween, similar to how Black Phone 2 created for Universal last year in same window. It’s supposed to be a body horror movie about a man with the power to change, how can it not be scary?

Therefore Practical Magic 2 on September 11 and Clayface on October 23, with teasers for both hopefully coming soon.

(through The deadline)
