
Former WBC lightweight world champion Tony Bellew Lists who he believes are the greatest 200 pound boxers of all time.
The lightweight division was established by the World Boxing Council in 1979, with Marvil Camel and Mate Parlov being the first to contend for the title. However, when they fought for the vacated belt, the result was a draw.
Camel and Parloff rematched three months later, with Camel making history as the Montana southpaw won by unanimous decision to become boxing’s first recognized lightweight world champion.
Since then, numerous boxing legends, including Bellew, have followed in Camel’s footsteps and dominated the division, but only three have held both the lightweight and heavyweight belts; Evander HolyfieldDavid Haye and Alexander Usyk.

Usyk is the second boxer after Holyfield to become the undisputed heavyweight and lightweight champion, but the undefeated 39-year-old vacated the WBO world title in November.
Now, Usyk is expected to compete at heavyweight for two more years against Deontay Wilder Or Andy Ruiz Jr. will likely be his summer 2026 opponent.
