As the countdown continues Jake Paul and Anthony Joshuaopinions continue to pile up.
There are now less than three weeks until 6-foot-6 heavyweight men’s mountain climber Joshua takes the field against 6-foot-1 lightweight Paul.
The eight-round heavyweight bout will headline the Most Valuable Promotions card at the Casea Center in Miami and will be broadcast live on Netflix. Joshua is widely believed to be too strong and skilled for the inexperienced Paul, who failed to defeat Tommy Fury in 2023.
However, Joshua’s chin, Brutally exposed by Daniel DuBois Last year, their All-England World Championship match ended with AJ knocking out in the fifth round.
The unpredictability of boxing and its clichés have led some to believe Paul still has a “boxing chance.” Former super lightweight and welterweight world champion Tim Bradley shares his thoughts on himself YouTube channel.
“They’ve done it again. They’ve got another guy who’s a little bit retarded. This should be an easy fight for Anthony Joshua. Shoot, if he goes in there and is himself, right?
“He’s an experienced Olympic gold medalist, experienced boxer – bigger than Jake Paul, stronger than Jake Paul, more skilled than Jake Paul. He should be there for Jake Paul.
“Crush him. Yeah, easy job. That’s how it’s supposed to be. I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on that.”
However, in a recent video, the Hall of Fame fighter appears to have narrowed the odds.
“Whether AJ will be successful or not is not a foregone conclusion.
“It’s a dangerous fight for both guys, man. In my opinion, it’s a 50/50 fight. You know, AJ, (points to chin), I don’t know.
“I don’t want to predict any of this, but look, if Andy Ruiz can get to him with his little, short, fat body, get in there and make contact with Anthony Joshua, I think Jake Paul has a damn chance, man.
“(Paul) has a little bit more footwork, a little more combination of throws, and he’s got a right-handed curveball that he likes. Anthony Joshua can be outmatched, but what about Jake Paul? I don’t know.”
Bradley wasn’t the only one to weigh in on the Joshua vs. Paul fight; Former world champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr was also the last man to face Problem Child in June.
