Lego sets really do make for the perfect gift. Not only are you giving your friend or family member a cool show, but also the experience of putting on the set themselves. And because of Lego’s wide range of media coverage from Star Wars to Marvel to Harry Potter and more, you’ll always find the perfect match for your loved one based on their particular interests and fandoms. which they follow. Or you may find the perfect match for your own interests. The holidays are over, it’s time to put that gift card money to good use. Amazon has the Lego Star Wars Droideka model for building and display available for 20% off. It normally goes for $65, but after the discount, you can get it for just $52. That’s a $13 savings.
What makes Star Wars as a franchise so fun is that every little creature, robot, or weirdo that steps in front of the camera has a toy based around it. Somewhere there is the largest Droideka in the world and they are given their favorite line of destroyer droids in the form of Lego. My fondest memories of Droideka, better known as rollies, include rolling as one of them in Star Wars Battlefront 2. That’s the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 for Xbox and PlayStation 2—not the 2017 release.

This buildable Droideka Lego droid figure is as seen in both Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: The Clone Wars during the invasion of Naboo. There are 583 pieces. When fully assembled, the arms move back and forth in a realistic shooting motion. And of course, yes, it can be transformed into the iconic ball shape. Simply remove and reattach the legs following the instructions. Although I do not recommend rolling your Lego Droideka by itself because you may find yourself having to assemble 583 pieces.
Join the second Droidka too! You get a small Lego droid figure in addition to the main Droideka. Additionally the box contains a Lego Star Wars 25th Anniversary Brick to commemorate 25 years of Lego Star Wars toys.
