The West Ham striker has been released from hospital following a car accident

“We are all grateful for the care that both the NHS and Air Ambulance UK have given Michelle during what has been a challenging time for her and her family, and for what they continue to do every day for people across the country.

“Pulling together in difficult times is what being part of West Ham United is all about and on behalf of the team, I would like to thank everyone for helping to raise an incredible amount of money for two great causes.”

Manager Julen Lopetegui said it was a “miracle” Antonio survived the crash.
