The war in Iran ‘affects European interests around the world’, researcher says




The deputy director of the European Council for Foreign Relations office in Paris spoke to FRANCE 24 about how European nations are already drawn into the war in Iran. Camille Lons pointed out that although any direct aid to the US or Israel is labeled as defensive only, attacks on French and British bases have already taken place. She noted that other major issues such as energy prices and arms supplies – bearing in mind European demands for supplies to Ukraine – could also be affected if the war continues.
