The US Embassy angered Danish veterans by taking down their flags




Danish veterans criticized the US embassy in Copenhagen on Wednesday for removing national flags placed outside the mission in honor of Danish soldiers killed in Afghanistan. The embassy later withdrew, and a US State Department spokesman told AFP that “until one of the sources came forward, we did not know why the flags were placed in planters in front of the embassy”.
