The United Arab Emirates denies supplying weapons to Yemen after an overnight attack by Saudi Arabia




In an overnight strike, the Saudi military hit a Yemeni port saying it was neutralizing arms shipments coming from the UAE and destined for the separatist group STC. The United Arab Emirates denied that the shipment contained weapons and claimed that the vehicles were not intended for any groups. Both countries have supported the warring parties in the more than decade-long war in Yemen, but this attack has turned the rivalry into an open dispute.
