AEW stars ricochet Preparations are being made for this week’s major title defense. The star will defend his national title this Wednesday at Dynamite.
Ricochet and “Jungle” Jack Perry will collide again for the AEW National Championship, continuing the rivalry that has been growing over the past few weeks. The champion last defended his title against Perry at Dynamite: New Year’s Smash. In this match, the trendsetter defeated the challenger and retained the title.
Despite losing the race, Perry refused to step aside. He quickly returned to the title picture. On the January 17, 2026 issue of Collision magazine, he defeated Anthony Bowens in a tight singles match to regain the title. Last week, AEW confirmed that their rematch will take place on the Wednesday, February 4th episode of Dynamite. The show will be taped at the Pearl Palm Theater in Las Vegas. The collision will also be recorded at the same location.
Perry He had been focused on this fight and he was finally able to topple Ricochet. In the weeks leading up to the match, the former TNT Champion was known as a formidable man who was relentless in his pursuit of the title. His recent victory over Bowens gave him the much needed motivation to win the title. Ricochet, on the other hand, may be tired from multiple title defenses. This could be the perfect opportunity for Jack Perry to defeat the former WWE star.

It’s a rough night for Jack Perry on this week’s episode of The Jungle dynamite. Ricochet and The Demand attacked Perry backstage.
It was chaos as the national champion taunted Perry while Bishop Cowan and Toya Leona brutally beat him. After the attack, Perry writhes in pain. Ricochet continued to taunt him during the attack, showing no remorse. Over the past few months, the high-flyer has taken on a ruthless heel role on television and social media. The attack adds more tension to the upcoming game.
It will be interesting to see if Perry can overcome the odds and dethrone Bounce this Wednesday on Dynamite.
