The Supreme Court in Switzerland said on Thursday that he had rejected the appeal of Islamic scholar Tarik Ramadan on his conviction last year for “rape and sexual compulsion” women at a hotel in Geneva 17 years ago. Ramadan lawyers, former professor at the University of Oxford, said they would appeal the judgment of the European Court of Human Rights.
