‘The Super Mario Galaxy Movie’ Levels Up With Super Bowl Spot

the Super Mario Galaxy Movie The promotion continues with a Super Bowl ad reminding everyone that it’s only a few months away and will hit hard when it arrives. How much do we talk? If this teaser and the first trailer any indication, Nintendo and Illumination are thinking as big as the universe.

completion appeared to Yoshi in the last trailer, the movie also released another short tease that put a spotlight on the action of the film and the new worlds. The first is a riff on the T-Rex moment from Super Mario Odysseywith Yoshi and Toad trying to protect the baby versions of Luigi and Mario from a giant dino. But Universal also released a more extensive ad over the weekend that gives us even more.

As the ad says, there’s a big galaxy out there, and if you thought the last movie looked great, Illumination is upping their game for the sequel. We have previously seen the film version of Sand Kingdom (from Super Mario Odyssey), where Mario and Luigi find Luigi. This new area gives us another new location in a huge cyberpunk city visited by Peach and Toad that also includes a bar full of classic Mario enemies.

Finally, we see Yoshi doing what he is best known for: devouring enemies and spitting them out like eggs. Watching it in movie form is kind of gross and funny, and your kids will definitely love it when The Super Mario Galaxy movies will hit theaters this Wednesday, April 1.
