Undefeated PFL star Usman Nurmagomedov took a shot at two of the UFC’s top talents following his recent win.
cousin ultimate fighting championship legend Khabib Nurmagomedov Defeated Alfie Davis at PFL Dubai to retain the lightweight title.
Usman’s mixed martial arts career record is 21 wins, 0 draws and 1 loss, and he defeated his opponent in the third round. The 27-year-old, one of the best talents outside of the UFC, was asked after the fight how his fights with Ilia Topuria and Arman Tsarukyan would go.
Topriya is the current UFC lightweight champion and remains undefeated in his MMA career. Charukyan is currently ranked as the No. 2 lightweight in the UFC.

Usman isn’t too worried about these two UFC opponents and claims he’ll defeat both pairs, just like he did against Davis:
“Their preparation will be completely different. Their skill level is different. Armand, for example, can wrestle as well as attack, so the preparation will be completely different, but the result will be the same.”
Usman was then compared to Chalukyan. Their most recent wins have come via submission, with Tsarukyan submitting Dan Hooker. The PFL champion was asked who had the better grappling and submission skills and said:
“Unlike Oman, I have nothing to lose.”

Usman Nurmagomedov slams UFC 324 main event
Usman Nurmagomedov wasn’t too happy with Justin Gaethje’s fight against Paddy Pimblett at UFC 324.
The two fought for the interim lightweight title, with Gaither emerging victorious. When Americans excel, Pimblitt’s Performance leaves a lot to be desired.
The Englishman can’t handle Gaethje and doesn’t use any grappling when things don’t go his way.
Usman claimed ahead of PFL Dubai that he would end the fight early:
“I think I’ll end it early. 100 percent against either of them. The way they fought, I don’t know, it looked like two drunk guys fighting.”
While praising Gaethje, he also slammed Pimblett:
“But credit to Justin Gaethje, he’s doing a really good job at 37 years old. I never even considered Pimblett a top 10 fighter in the UFC.”
