The Lego Movie (March 1 on Netflix)
Everything is great. That’s because the insanely incredible Lego Moviefrom directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, is coming to Netflix.
War Machine (March 6 on Netflix)
Alan Ritchson stars in this suitably entertaining Netflix original action film about a soldier training for an elite military group, who then finds himself up against a killer alien robot.
the saw Saga (March 19 on Netflix)
I always advocate watching movies on the big screen with an audience, but in the case of saw films, watching at home offers something very different: the ability to watch them in an extravagant way. It works so well because of their overlapping storylines, which gives the series a fresh feel. Nine of the 10 films in the series (except Spiralthe ninth) arrives at the service.
Fight Club (March 1 on Hulu)
We all know the rules of Fight Clubso let’s continue. (But it also comes with Peacock.)
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice (March 27 on Hulu)
Haven’t seen it yet, but it’s based on South by Southwest and stars Vince Vaughn, James Marsden, Eiza González, Jimmy Tatro, and others in a gangster romance time travel movie. Yes, please.

Dangerous Animals (March 28 on Hulu)
It was gone when it was released, so excited to check it out on streaming. Jai Courtney fights sharks.
Daredevil: Reborn Season 2 (March 24 on Disney+)
Matt Murdock continues his journey in the MCU in the second season of Born Again, and while there’s still no word on a release schedule, we’re told it won’t be a luxury model.
the Blair Witch Trilogy (March 1 on HBO Max)
The first one Blair Witch Projectt is an all-time classic. This we know. The sequel wasn’t as good but is still revered in some circles as a cult classic. And while the third film rarely gets the same amount of love, we go to bat for it. Adam Wingard did the right thing with the franchise. All three will be streaming this month.
Memento (March 1 on HBO Max)
The film that put Christopher Nolan on the map. A classic mystery starring Guy Pearce told in complete reverse. Or, in other words, “Esrever ni yleritne dlot s’taht ecraeP yuG gnirrats yretsym cissalc a. Pam eht no naloN rehpotsirhC tup taht mlif eht.”
Spider-Man movies (March 1 on HBO Max)
Sam Raimi’s trilogy, as well as Marc Webb’s double feature, are all coming to HBO Max. There are some classics in there, and even the bad ones are fun because, well, it’s Spider-Man.

Swiss Army man (March 1 on HBO Max)
Before they won an Oscar for a movie with sausage fingers, the Daniels made a movie about a man riding a corpse powered by farts. And it is magical. Oh, and that other movie, All Everywhere All at once, Also streaming on HBO Max at the same time.
The Bride of Frankenstein (March 1 on HBO Max)
There are many, many Frankenstein movies, but arguably the best is this 1935 film, which easily falls into the same era as its modern narrative, The Bride!
V for Vendetta (March 1 on HBO Max)
Can you believe we are almost at the 20th anniversary of V for Vendetta? The incredible adaptation of Alan Moore’s story opened on March 17, 2006, making its arrival on streaming that much easier to celebrate.
Ballerina (March 27 on HBO Max)
Remember when Lionsgate released a John Wick last year and no one saw it? Well, it is, and you have to find it. This way, it’s better than you think. Ana de Armas is proud of the franchise.
humility (March 1 at Paramount+)
This month, I noticed two sci-fi movies that forgot to come to streaming, and I want to highlight them. Neither is great, but each would be great and worth revisiting. First is humilitya 2017 Alexander Payne movie in which Matt Damon shrinks to start a new life. It’s so amazing, and I forgot it existed until I saw the Paramount listings.
evolution (March 1 at Paramount+)
Another is this 2001 Ivan Reitman movie starring David Duchovny and Julianne Moore as scientists who discover alien life in a meteor that crashes into Earth. Again, not a great movie, but famous people made it, and I forgot it existed until I saw it appear here. This and humility feels ripe for a second look.

Sin City by Frank Miller (March 1 at Paramount+)
One film I will never forget is Robert Rodriguez’s amazing adaptation Sin City. Just one of the best looking, to say the least, comic book movies ever.
the Friday the 13th Movies (March 1 at Paramount+)
With a Friday the 13th coming up in March, and one just gone in February, there’s no better time to follow the summer camp adventures of one Jason Voorhees. At least, the first eight adventures. No nine or 10. But parts one and three are also available at Peacock.
the Spy Kids Trilogy (March 1 at Paramount+)
Since 2001, Robert Rodriguez has somehow made five Spy Kids movies. It looks wild. And although I haven’t seen the fourth or fifth films, the most entertaining first three all come streaming this month.
Young Sherlock Holmes (March 1 at Paramount+)
Not just a visual effects landmark, this Barry Levinson-directed, Chris Columbus-written adventure film about Sherlock Holmes in his school years is stunning all around.

Hostel and Hostel Part II (March 31 on Shudder)
by Eli Roth Hostel movies are notorious for being brutal, and rightfully so. Each is about students who travel to Europe only to be arrested for an underground operation that allows rich people to kill strangers. very messy. Very solid horror.
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (March 1 at the Peacock)
Michel Gondry’s masterpiece, written by Charlie Kaufman, stars Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet as a couple who undergo surgery to erase each other’s memories from their minds. Just an unforgettable movie you must watch.
Evil: For Good (March 20 at the Peacock)
I didn’t like the sequel evil, but not as many people are seeing it in theaters as before, so we thought you might want to know about streaming. That it was done on March 20.
The Wild Robot (March 24 at the Peacock)
One of the best films, animated or not, to be released in recent memory is this incredible story of a robot who finds himself caring for a small animal on an uninhabited island. It’s everything you want in a movie and more.
Bambi: The Countdown (March 27 at the Peacock)
I didn’t see Bambi: The Countdown, but I wouldn’t be doing my job if I didn’t let you know that there’s a Peacock original public domain horror movie starring Bambi coming to streaming in March.
