The French parliament passed a special law to avoid a government shutdown




The French Senate approved special legislation on Wednesday to ensure the continuation of core state functions while the government works on next year’s budget. The law, passed after approval by the lower house, serves as a temporary measure while the deeply divided parliament deals with the 2025 budget.
