The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is poised for a decisive victory in the landmark parliamentary elections




The opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), led by Tarique Rahman, was predicted to win the first election since the deadly rebellion in 2024 by a landslide, local television channels reported on Friday. Senior BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi claimed a “big victory” and urged supporters to pray instead of celebrating publicly.
