Terence Crawford lists 3 greatest boxing matches of all time



Terrence Crawford has revealed his all-time favorite boxing match and named three winners of Ring magazine’s prestigious annual boxing awards.

The former three-division undisputed champion himself had never been involved in such a back-and-forth fight, but nonetheless ended his career in 2025 as The Ring’s Fighter of the Year.

The admission comes months after he made his statement. Legendary win over Canelo AlvarezLast September, he won all four major belts at 168 pounds.

Elsewhere in his career, Crawford defeated several other world-class fighters with dominant wins, including Errol Spence Jr., whom he knocked out in the ninth round to become the undisputed welterweight king in 2023.

While “Bud” was primarily known for his superior boxing IQ and cunning footwork, he also displayed a degree of resentment that often led him to conduct matters in an emphatic fashion.

In that sense, it’s no surprise that Crawford ranks three all-action games (two of which ended in distance) as his favorite games of all time.

Crawford also named the iconic first meeting between Diego Corrales and Jose Luis Castillo in 2005 as one of his personal favorites, followed by Erik Morales vs. Marco Antonio Barrera in 2000 to complete the top three clashes.

Hagler emerged victorious in a thrilling contest against Hearns, while Corrales and Morales were victorious over their respective lightweight and super lightweight opponents.
