Tens of thousands join Ankara protest against the legal breakthrough of the main Turkish opposition party




At least 50,000 people gathered on Sunday in the huge Tandogan Square in Ankara to protest against a one -year legal suppression of members of the main Turkish opposition party, the organizers said. The protest comes on the eve of the court’s decision on Monday that could cancel the Congress of the Republican People’s Party in 2023, basically a transforming party.
