Teddy Bridgewater returns after winning high school state coaching title, signs with Lions

Campbell praised his relationship with Bridgewater in interviews with reporters on Thursday.

“I’ve been around Teddy for a while and it was always a potential possibility. We all knew what Teddy did there, gave back to his community, they won a championship there, so his first coaching It was a really good performance,” Campbell said.

“Being able to get an experienced guy back here, he’s in shape, he’s been pitching, and just getting him back here to work a little bit. It just brings a level of professionalism, that veteran presence, to Great guy for our team.”
