Barcelona have reportedly given defender Ronald Araujo a warning to sign a new contract as soon as possible and he appears ready to do so.
Negotiations are said to have taken place between Barcelona president Joan Laporta and Araujo and everything is now back on track, with the Uruguay international set to agree a new deal and stay at Camp Nou.

Araujo is undoubtedly a useful signing for Manchester United After a poor run of form, the club definitely needs to upgrade with the likes of Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof.
Nonetheless, the Red Devils are also likely to focus on other positions after signing Matthijs de Ligt and Lenny Yoro in the summer, providing plenty of depth at the back for Ruben Amorim.
Chelsea, meanwhile, could also benefit from the signing of Araujo, who could be seen as a significant upgrade over the likes of Axel Disasi and Benoit Badyashler, while Wes Leigh Fofana performed well but had injury issues.
