Syrian security forces are entering strategic al-Hassakeh as part of a deal with the Kurdish-led SDF




Forces under the Syrian Interior Ministry entered the strategic northeastern town of al-Hassakeh on Monday as part of an agreement with the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). Under the deal, security forces were given permission to enter two Kurdish-held towns in exchange for the integration of the SDF and its administration into the central government.
