European markets opened higher on Tuesday, ahead of a shortened trading session ahead of Christmas Eve.

The pan-European Stoxx 600 index was up around 0.3% at the open, with all sectors in positive territory. Technology stocks were among the stocks leading the gains Strong trading session U.S. technology stocks debuted on Monday.
