Missouri Republican Sen. Eric Schmidt said on Tuesday that he “will not be apologizing to China anytime soon” and began filing a lawsuit worth about $50 billion against him in retaliation for suing China while he was president. Missouri Attorney General.
“It’s completely ridiculous. They’re just angry that we exposed their lies and deception,” he told “The Ingraham Angle.”

Schmidt dismissed the incident as “sour grapes,” while explaining that his team was working to translate the legal documents served to him.

Schmidt sues the People’s Republic of China In early 2020, while serving as Missouri Attorney General, he met with the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various Chinese government ministries, the Chinese Communist Party, the Wuhan Institute of Virology, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
At the time, he accused the Chinese government of concealing information about COVID-19 and failing to control the outbreak.
