Cristiano Ronaldo took full advantage of the Saudi Pro League’s winter break and took his family on holiday to Lapland.
At 39, the Portuguese icon continues to defy expectations, scoring 16 goals in 19 appearances for Al-Nasr this season.
However, despite their excellent form, Al-Nasr have struggled as a team under the guidance of former AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli.
The club is currently fourth in the SPL standings, 11 points behind league leaders Al-Ittihad.
With the SPL on a mid-season break, and matches not resuming until January 9, Ronaldo took the opportunity to enjoy some downtime with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children.
The family opted for a magical trip to Finland’s northernmost region, Lapland, famous for its mesmerizing northern lights, winter resorts and reputation as the official home of Santa Claus.

Ronaldo shared glimpses of the vacation on social media, including an adorable photo of himself standing in the snow wearing just shorts.
He captioned the post: “Merry Christmas, everyone,” beaming with holiday cheer.
During their time in Lapland, the family explored a variety of activities, including visiting Santa Claus and driving snowmobiles.
However, Ronaldo avoided skiing, as most footballers are generally prohibited from participating in high-risk sports due to injury concerns outlined in their contracts.
Instead, Rodriguez and the kids tried their hand at skiing while Ronaldo enjoyed other aspects of the winter wonderland.
The trip is a stark contrast to their life in Riyadh, where December temperatures hover around 17 degrees.
In Lapland, however, temperatures can drop as low as -30 during the winter months, making for a completely different experience for the family.
Ronaldo will soon return to action when Al-Nasr take on Al-Okhdud in the SPL on January 9.
