Congressional Democrats on Sunday said Friday’s Epstein revelations were “significant,” however, they were still only about half of the documents that had been collected.
“But even these shocked the conscience of the country,” Khanna said on Sunday.
“I mean, some of the wealthiest people, tech leaders, financial leaders, politicians are all involved in some way,” he said.
“This is, frankly, in my opinion, one of the biggest scandals in the history of our country,” Khanna said Sunday. “There’s a need for elite accountability.”
A group of Epstein victims blasted the Justice Department in a statement on Friday “Incomplete” release The number of files.
“The newly released Jeffrey Epstein documents are sold in the name of transparency but instead expose survivors,” the group said in a statement obtained by MS Now.
“Once again, the names and identities of survivors are exposed while those who abused us are hidden and protected. This is outrageous. As survivors, we should never be the ones to be named, scrutinized, and re-victimized, while Epstein’s enablers continue to benefit from secrecy. This is a betrayal of the people this process is supposed to serve,” the statement said.
