RBC Capital Raises General Motors (GM) PT to $107 After Strong Q4 Earnings Hit


General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) is one of the the most undervalued large-cap stocks to invest in now. On Jan. 28, after a strong rise in fourth-quarter 2025 earnings, RBC Capital raised its price target for General Motors from $92 to $107 with an outperform rating. The company suggested GM is well-equipped to counter commodity and onshoring pressures through a combination of regulatory tailwinds, improved warranty costs and reduced EV losses, along with potential benefits from USMCA tariff negotiations.

The company also highlighted General Motors’ strategic agility, noting that the company is effectively navigating the current slowdown in electric vehicles while retaining the production flexibility needed to ramp up quickly if demand picks up.

On the same day, Morgan Stanley also raised its price target on General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) to $100 from $90, while maintaining an overweight rating. This announcement also came after a solid earnings report and 2026 guidance that beat consensus expectations. The company noted that while initial guidance is strong, there is still significant potential for upward revisions as the year progresses. In addition, Morgan Stanley highlighted General Motors’ continued commitment to shareholder value, specifically pointing to the company’s recently authorized $6 billion share repurchase program as a key driver of investor confidence.

General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) designs, builds and sells trucks, crossovers, cars and auto parts worldwide. It operates through the GM North America, GM International and GM Financial segments.
