Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip’s marriage isn’t just about silence.

Behind the palace gate, there were many temper tantrums, fierce quarrels, and occasionally explosive fights.

Robert Jobson, author of new book “Legacy of Windsor” It describes a heated argument that took place in 1954 while the couple were on a royal tour of Australia.

The best-selling author and royal editor of London’s Evening Standard has been revealing the behind-the-scenes stories of the Windsors for decades.

Fox News Digital has contacted Buckingham Palace for comment. A spokesperson previously told Fox News Digital, “We do not comment on books like this.”

Philippe retired from public service in 2017 at the age of 96. He spent his later years quietly in a five-bedroom cottage At Sandringham Estatebusy with history books, watercolors and visits from close family members.
