Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and directed by Brett Ratner, the film chronicles the first lady’s Capture behind-the-scenes moments at the White House from her home at Trump Tower in New York City to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. The documentary is the debut of the first lady’s new film production company, Muse Films.

Ahead of the premiere, both President Trump and Melania Trump commented on how outspoken the first lady has been during her term.

“When I speak, I’m very selective about what I do,” Melania also told Fox Digital. “This is my choice, I am mission- and action-oriented, and our first year in office as first lady has been very successful and I am proud of what we accomplished.”

Several other dignitaries on the red carpet also expressed their appreciation for the First Lady and hoped that the documentary would show the public the side of the First Lady they saw.

“I hope they see what I see,” U.S. attorney Alina Haba told Fox Digital News. “She’s very savvy. She’s very committed. She does everything with grace. She takes the hits around him and always carries herself with such grace. I’m so happy that for a girl boss, a true legend, a woman who should be on the cover of Vogue, she’s going to get a chance to shine.”

“I think she’s a great friend,” Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said. “She’s the kindest, smartest, best friend, obviously very private, and just does things her way. So I think we get to see some of that in the movie tonight. She’s like a breath of fresh air because she’s almost like President Trump, and that’s why they’re such a good match. She just does things her way.”

Rollins also noted that Melania played an important role in paving the way for America First policies during Trump’s first term and acknowledged that the first lady became more outspoken during Trump’s second term.

“She stood up and expressed her opinion, and that’s an important thing,” Speaker Mike Johnson told Fox News Digital. “She’s a very smart woman and very decent and gracious and humble and I think she’s a great model and the more she talks about it the better.”

“MELANIA” focuses on the first lady’s business, her philanthropic efforts and her family life as she prepares to be America’s first lady for the second time. The 104-minute film will hit the big screen around the world on January 30 and will be shown in theaters in North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Israel, the United Arab Emirates and other places.
