He departs Ligue 1 with Marseille in fourth place, 12 points behind leaders PSG.

The 46-year-old’s stock is high in England after an impressive spell at Brighton. The Seagulls qualified for European competition for the first time under his leadership, with an aggressive, possession-heavy brand of football that won many admirers.

De Zerby has previously been linked with Manchester United while Tottenham and Brighton could both emerge as potential destinations.
