Another goal, another record for Cristiano Ronaldo.
40-year-old Ronaldo became a player with most goals in the World Cup qualifiers after scoring a goal for Portugal twice in his 2-2 draw with Hungary on Tuesday in Lisbon.
His first goal, from the immediate minute in the 22th minute, was Ronald’s 40th in the World Cup qualifying match, breaking the equalizer with former Guatemale player Carlos Ruiz.
The Al-Nassr striker then added the second at the time of stopping the first half to increase his record at 41 goals in 50 qualifying for the World Cup he played.
Ronaldo now has a record 143 goal in men.
He left the field in the 78th minute with a score to 2-1, and Hungary equalized in the time of stopping through Dominic Szoboszlai, preventing Portugal to move the place in the World Cup with two group games.
Portugal still runs Group F for five points ahead of Hungary in second place.
