Polymarket, together with Soccer United Marketing (SUM), announced a new multi-year partnership deal with Major League Soccer (MLS).

As part of SETTLEMENTPolymarket, one of the biggest names in the prediction market, will serve as the Official and Exclusive Prediction Market Partner of MLS, MLS All-Star Game, MLS Cup presented by Audi, and Leagues Cup.

The news surrounding the partnership centers on MLS and Polymarket working together to use digital platforms to their full potential. This includes a focus on improving the game experience and a new feature named “second screen engagement.”

Not much has been said about these new features, but immersion seems to be a key takeaway for those who interact with the prediction market site and app to “reflect the real-time collective sentiment of fans about key moments.”

Polymarket CEO Shane Coplan spoke of the deal

Shayne Coplan, Founder and CEO of Polymarket, said, “Through our partnership with MLS and the Leagues Cup, we can show real-time collective sentiment on key moments, matches, and season-long storylines, giving fans a more interactive, data-driven way to experience the game and engage with the world’s most popular sport.”

The move marks a significant step for Polymarket in North America’s biggest soccer league and comes on the eve of a special summer tournament.

the 2026 World Cup will be hosted by Canada, Mexico, and the United States, and it will be a sign for Polymarket before the biggest gaming tournament in the world.

The Polymarket release noted the competition, saying, “With the arrival of the FIFA World Cup in the region in 2026, Major League Soccer and the Leagues Cup are entering a new era of visibility and growth, creating expanded opportunities to engage fans in meaningful and modern ways.”

Since Polymarket has returned to North America, there is a lot of energy surrounding the platform. Several deals have been struck amid the company’s rapid expansion, and one that matches the MLS deal is DAZN partnership announced in January 2026.

“Through our first-of-its-kind partnership with DAZN, we’re embedding those insights directly into the viewing experience, from boxing to the Champions League, so fans can track momentum, debate results, and engage with sports like never before,” said Coplan.
