Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators are searching for answers after a badly decomposed body was found on a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., on Saturday.

The body was found hundreds of yards below the cliff.

Investigators said they believe the man fell from Dina’s observation deck but appeared to have been dead at the location for a long time because “Severe decomposition.”

Los Angeles County Fire Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, the statement said.

Officials said the incident was related to Human legs found along coastline last week.

While the department has not released the manner of death, the case is under investigation Homicide Squad.
