Police investigating after hiker discovers badly decomposed body


Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators are searching for answers after a badly decomposed body was found on a cliff in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., on Saturday.

Investigators said they believe the man fell from Dina’s observation deck but appeared to have been dead at the location for a long time because “Severe decomposition.”

Los Angeles County Fire Paramedics responded and pronounced the man dead at the scene, the statement said.
