Former Leeds United striker Pavel Sibiki admits his move to the Yorkshire club in 2017 was a big mistake and he wishes he had never moved to Elland Road.
The Swedish star is a relatively unknown footballer, but things might have been different had he scored against England at the 2017 U21 European Championship.
Hibiki believes the goal could have earned him a move to the Premier League, but instead the former striker was forced to choose between Leeds United and Leganes, a decision he believes he made wrong.

The Swedish star is still serving a four-year ban for gambling offenses after deliberately receiving a yellow card during the 2019 clash between Elfsborg and Kalmar.
Nibiki’s career is a sad story and he believes things could have been different.

“I had to choose between Leeds United and Leganes. I obviously should have chosen Spain and La Liga – which suited my style of football better – but Leeds ended up choosing there,” said the former footballer Sports News.
“Gambling was about to take over completely and my girlfriend at the time didn’t want to follow me into my career, she wanted to stay in Sweden. It all went completely off the rails while I was left alone in the UK. I was getting a monthly income from Leeds A little over 200,000 kroner, all spent within an hour.”
Although the Swedish star lost control of his life during his time at Leeds United, the Yorkshire club cannot be blamed for Hibiki’s decision. Someone on the white team will most likely try to help their former player, but he may never raise his issue.
Hibiki made just 10 appearances for Leeds United and unfortunately did not enjoy his time at one of England’s biggest and best clubs.
