Paul Heyman was brutally attacked on Monday night’s RAW, with a chair pressed against his back and a foot stomping on his head. As he was being transported in a fully opened ambulance, he was kidnapped by a former United States Champion.
RAW got off to a chaotic start after the Elimination Chamber match, with The Vision furious at the return of Seth Rollins, who had a stellar performance that resulted in three eliminations, costing Logan Paul the Iron Cage match. Austin Theory and Logan Paul were lured out by the decoy masked man, leaving Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman alone in the ring, Who did he hit with the steel chair? Then stamp your feet. Hyman was knocked away and had to be put into an ambulance.
Thanks for your submission!
After Austin Theory assures him that everything will be fine, he was taken out Jimmy Uso arrives. When Jimmy walked to the cab of the ambulance, inside was the former United States Champion Los Angeles Knight, who had kidnapped Paul Heyman.
It was a pretty epic moment and tease, one that was reminiscent of the iconic segment on SmackDown a few years ago when then-SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was kidnapped by The Undertaker. It sets a precedent, and while it’s not exactly the same, it’s hard not to see the impact.
The only difference is that Heyman was completely out of it and had no idea what was going on. After the entire segment, Logan Paul and Austin Theory would come out and cut a promo, with Theory setting up a match against Jimmy Uso, who seemed to believe that he and Paul were the ones who attacked his brother Jey.
With WrestleMania approaching, still a month and a half away, that leaves time for a massive build-up and we’ll see what happens in the aftermath of this.
