During the heyday of the New England Patriots dynasty, bill belichick There is a famous list of rules. Super Bowl LI MVP Julian Edelman remembers Belichick’s most “memorable” rule.
“The most memorable rule that I always remember him saying is, nothing can be in your hotel room, nothing that is burning can be in your hotel room,” Edelman told Fox News Digital in August. While promoting Sleeping pill Unisom.

Just as Belichick is picky about what his players inhale, he’s also picky about what they chew.
“Everything we do is tailored to each individual, so we train players who weigh 185 pounds, we train players who weigh 350 pounds,” Belichick said in 2017. According to NFL.com.
For Edelman, this manifests in a high-tech yet humble approach to food discipline.

“I’ll basically have a nutritionist on my team, Ted Harper, and they’ll communicate with my chefs and they’ll see how I’m doing through my GPS data showing my load for the day, and then they’ll make adjustments based on my blood type,” Edelman said, adding that the science is so precise that he had to leave out the mustard and almonds.
Belichick’s rigorously calculated approach to player management was a defining quality that brought New England six Super Bowl trophies and nine appearances under the coach from 2000 to 2023. Under his watch, the Patriots won 266 regular season games, 17 AFC East titles and 31 playoff victories.
Despite this, Belichick reportedly missed the first ballot for the Hall of Fame.

ESPN first Belichick reportedly won’t be in the Hall of Fame this time around. The outlet reported, citing sources, that Belichick was “confused” and “disappointed” by the decision and wanted to know what else he needed to do as a head coach to join right away.
Another source told ESPN, “Politics keeps him out. He doesn’t think it’s a reflection of his accomplishments.”
The Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since Belichick left the team after the 2023 season, led by his protege Mike Vrabel.
They will face the Seahawks in a rematch of Super Bowl 49, when Edelman helped New England to its first of three Super Bowl victories in the 2010s.
