Speaking to FRANCE 24’s Mark Owen, Hussein Ibish, senior resident scientist at the Institute of Arab Gulf States, says that “as time went on and as Hezbollah repeatedly dragged the country into war, everyone else’s patience for this excuse of ‘well, we’re fighting Israel, so it’s OK’ wore off.”
