The detention of the Indian Border Guard of Pakistani forces inserted another element of tension into the already unstable conflict between the two countries after last week’s deadly terrorist attack in Kashmir.

The family of the Indian Border Guard, Purnam Kumar Shaw, who is part of the paramilitary forces of the security forces, expressed concern about her destiny.

He followed farmers who took care of their crops along the border in the Indian state of Punjab when he strayed across the line that he demolished Indian and Pakistani territory and was detained, according to the Indian newspaper.

Kalyan Banerjee, a member of the Indian Parliament for Western Bengal, said that high Indian safety officers assured him that Mr. Shaw was of good health and that the Government was making “all possible efforts” to bring him back to India.
